ABOUT THE TENURE TRACK SYSTEM
While the position as an assistant professor is a four-year temporary position, the employee will be evaluated for tenure after three years, using formalized and pre-determined tenure track requirements. If given tenure, the temporary position is converted into a permanent associate professorship position. The tenure track requirements focus on the number and quality of the research papers the employee has produced (not necessarily while having the assistant professor position). The quality of the papers is mainly measured by the quality of the journal the paper is published in.
Candidates should indicate their interest in the position by uploading a cover letter, curriculum vitae, research papers, and letters of recommendation electronically. We actively encourage women to apply.
Questions about the position can be directed to Head of Department of the Department of Data Science and Analytics, contact: Francesco Ravazzolo, mail: firstname.lastname@example.org.
